Lessons

Students have different preferences when it comes playing guitar, or music, in general. This is completely natural and there is no pressure to play or practice things that you don't like. I will however try to encourage you to develop certain skills that will help you become a better player - faster!

BEGINNER
Basic chord shapes, simple strum patterns, chord progressions, easy songs, melody lines, major scale and pentatonic scale, introduction to music theory. I aim to have students playing a simple song within the first few weeks.

INTERMEDIATE
Playing in different keys, learning the layout of the fingerboard, playing in different fingerboard positions, soloing techniques, connecting scale patterns, using the caged system, modes.

ADVANCED
Advanced scales, chromaticism, passing notes, altered and extended chords, inversions, substitution, arpeggios, economy picking, shredding.
